DUBAI: A United Arab Emirates (UAE) resident has become a millionaire overnight after winning an incredible Dh3 million in the Dream Dubai DSF Grand Prize.
The lucky winner, Suresh Pavaiah, a 45-year-old from Tamil Nadu, India, has lived in the UAE since 2006.
Suresh, who has extensive industry expertise, plans to invest his winnings in launching a technical services business in the UAE. His journey with Dream Dubai began after discovering the platform on Facebook. Intrigued by its ‘shop and win’ concept, he participated in multiple campaigns before finally striking gold.
A birthday to remember
The winning moment came at a special time for Suresh – the draw took place on his birthday. “Winning Dh3 million still feels surreal. I had participated multiple times before, but this time, fortune was in my favour. It was the best gift I could have ever received,” he said.
Shopping Cards led to Dh3m win
His participation involved purchasing two ‘Modesh Shopping Cards’ during a promotional period, ultimately securing his jackpot.
Dream Dubai's process is simple – customers sign up via the app or website, buy shopping cards, and enter prize draws. Winners are selected and announced live in the presence of a Dubai Government official.
